What Are Passive Mobs?
Passive mobs are completely peaceful. They will never try to attack you. They will not even fight back if you hit them. These are common creatures like cows, pigs, chickens, and sheep. They are a great source of food when you get hungry. They also provide other items. For example, you can get wool from sheep to make a bed. You can get leather from cows to make armor. These mobs are very important for survival.
Understanding Neutral Mobs
Neutral mobs are peaceful at first. But they will fight back if you provoke them in some way. This makes them different from passive mobs. For example, Endermen will attack if you look directly at their eyes. Wolves can be your friend, but a wild wolf will attack if you hit it first. Spiders are neutral in the daylight but become hostile at night. Learning about passive & neutral mobs helps you explore your world safely.
Taming and Breeding Animals
You can interact with many of these mobs in special ways. Some of them can be tamed to become your loyal pets. You can tame a wolf with bones to have it help you fight. You can also breed many animals to make more of them. For example, you can feed wheat to two cows. This will make them have a baby cow. Breeding animals is a great way to create a farm for food and resources. Our guides show you what food each animal likes. We make it easy to understand how to care for your passive & neutral mobs.
